How do I remove a big scratch from the LCD display on the back of my digital camera?
We have a Canon Elph, and the LCD display on the back of the camera has a nasty scratch on it. Is there any product out there, that would remove the scratch?
This is not for the lens of the camera…just FYI. The lens is fine. It’s the digital LCD display in the back of the camera that is scratched up. Is there a product for LCD displays that gets rid of scratches?

There is no product that I know of that will remove scratches. The LCD display is a very fine and thin layered sheet of optical quality glass. It’s easy to scratch, but you will probably want to get it replaced if it bothers you.

The LCD of the digital camera is very expensive and delicate. So the users must be careful during the operation and do good maintenance at other times. Collision with hard objects should be carefully avoided. Otherwise, the LCD screen must be damaged.
The LCD screen is easy to be dirty. You’d better use the clean dry cloth like the lens cloth and glasses clean cloth to clean it. And remember not to use the organic solvent. The performance of the LCD screen will be changing with the temperature. It’s normal that the LCD screen comes with weaker brightness under the low temperature.
