Anybody know anything about this lifetime warranty for Chrysler?
I heard they’re going to have a lifetime warranty on their cars excluding the srts and a couple others. How can anybody have a lifetime warranty? There has to be some kind of catch. I mean, I could buy one of their cars and own it for 50 years and still have it under warranty, I’d never have to buy another car in my life. How can any car company afford that?
Yeah read the fine print and you will find out how many idiots there are in the world. It is a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty that covers the Engine, Transmission, Drive-Axle, and Drive-train Components. It applies to the original owner of the vehicle and you have to bring your vehicle in for inspection every 5 years to continue warranty coverage. In theory, you can have your car for 50 years and still have it under warranty.
