Mac gets a new Heart Rate Monitor!
I am married for four years now and my husband works in a bank. Though he is in service he is very much health conscious. He is an avid sprinter and irrespective of weather conditions he keeps up his jogging routine very diligently. It’s always a treat for Mac to frequent the parks full of greenery in this part of DC during his regular morning jogging and he always uses the heart rate monitor as a calorie burn index. For the last few days Mark has been telling me that his monitor was giving inappropriate readings of calorie burn and some other specifications he used to take record of.
Last month one morning while he was out for his regular sprints all of a sudden a storm rose. That day he was jogging down an unknown lane. The satellite radio kept losing the signals under the dense tree canopy. Mac got a little worried as he was jogging down an unfamiliar track that day and his tracker too was not working properly. Poor Mac had to tarry till the storm waned and on his return I was also relieved. Later when I heard how his tracker foxed him I knew what I had to do. I was ready with my laptop looking for a perfect heart rate monitor for him.
By typing Heart Rate Monitor Review in the search box I had a lot of relevant results that I had to scale down to a chosen few. The Oregon Scientific Heart Rate Monitor, Timex Heart Rate Monitors and the Heart Rate Monitor Strapless were all providing me similar facilities but the perfect for me was the Impact Sports ePulse Strapless Heart Rate Monitor which had all – calorie burn meter, flexible forearm fitting, target zones, current calculator and of course the reasonable price tag, just $99.75! I at once got it ordered for Mac.
The device was delivered within due time and nowadays Mac even uses it for cycling or when he goes to the gym too. The auto stop feature works extremely well on the bike. This device has no problem to get connected to the satellite so tracking back home from unknown places is a very convenient now. Overall it is an excellent product and worth every penny we spent on it. Now Mac has got the right device for himself and I too feel quite at peace.

The sensor on my Oregon Scientific atomic clock may be broken…….?
Okay so I have this clock:

And I’m not sure whether or not the sensor is broken. For instance, yesterday my clock said that it was going to be partly cloudy (the clock predicts 12-24 hours ahead) but since then it’s been snowing nonstop…My dad thinks that he did something to the sensor when he was on the roof a couple days ago…I guess he thinks he got bits of dust or something in the sensor and that’s why it’s not predicting weather right…soo….
1) Is something wrong with my clock’s sensor?
2) Is there anything I can do to fix it, if it is broken?
Please help. I’m really confused. xDD
My guess is that the outside sensor only reads temperature. Does it measure the outside temp. correctly? If not, maybe you can simply buy a new sensor.
