What is the importance of the 3rd pin (Ground) on UK AC plugs?
Why are some not really connected to the appliace at all. Will it affect the electrical performance if this is disconnected or if you connect a 2 wire AC plug to a 3 pin AC appliance?
i wouldn’t mess with things, but i havent a clue, just doesn’t sound safe to go messing with the pins and things. the uk was designed for 3 pins, so stay with the safe option
